Kids in Ocean City will soon have a fun new experience to enjoy.

An outdoor recreation business, The Yard, was recently approved by Ocean City officials, Shore Local Newsmagazine reported.

According to The Yard's website, it will be "a unique and exciting aerial adventure park designed especially for children."

It hopes to open next year, Shore Local Newsmagazine reported.

The Yard is owned by the same owner of OCNJ Watersports, Totally Tubular Watersports and Beachy Tiki, according to its website.

"This innovative park features a series of nets and obstacles suspended in the air, providing a safe and thrilling environment for kids to climb, explore, and play," the website reads. "In addition to the aerial adventure park, The Yard offers a range of other activities to keep children entertained and engaged."

Documents show that The Yard will be located at 737-41 West Ave., an existing commercial building and parking lot.

The inside of the building will house more entertainment, including sports simulators, according to The Yard's website.
