-October 8-10, Cape May Ghost Caper Tours Cape May is famous for its "paranormal activity", with many homes dating back hundreds of years and a rich history. The Ocean View Fire Company presents The Trail of Terror: Ascent of Darkness! This all new haunted walk in the woods behind the Ocean View Fire Hall is held on weekends in October from 7-10PM each night. All proceeds benefit the Ocean View Volunteer Fire Company. 2545 Rte 9, Ocean View.

-October 16, Pumpkin Festival & Share The Harvest Food Drive At Historic Cold Spring Village, enjoy this free event from 10-4pm. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable donations. Families can enjoy pumpkin painting and games throughout the day. A variety of crafters will sell their wares along the Village’s shell-paved lanes. Vendors will be selling hot dogs, funnel cake, and other snacks. Visit a haunted house at the Village Barn and hop on a fall hayride through the farm. Don’t miss the Children’s Halloween Parade at 11am.

-October 21, Cape May "Graveyard, Ghosts & Mansion Tour"

-October 22-23, Ocean View Trail of Terror The Ocean View Fire Company presents The Trail of Terror: Ascent of Darkness! This all new haunted walk in the woods behind the Ocean View Fire Hall is held on weekends in October from 7-10PM each night. All proceeds benefit the Ocean View Volunteer Fire Company. 2545 Rte 9, Ocean View. Saturday, October 23, will also feature a "no scare" event for those with sensory concerns, from 2-4pm, in addition to the 7-10pm "full scare" version)

-October 22, Sea Isle City Halloween Dance Party
The parade will feature live music, strolling entertainers, floats, local organizations and many well-costumed participants will appear. The Halloween Awards Ceremony and Family Dance Party will take place at the Excursion Park Band Shell immediately after the parade. The dance party will keep your “spirits” high and delight families with seasonal music and popular dance favorites. Parade route is 45th & Landis to JFK Blvd.

-October 23, Ocean City Humane Society Halloween Parade
Hosted by the Humane Society of Ocean City, the first annual “Howl-O-Ween” Parade and dog costume contest is for people and dogs of all ages. Contestants are encouraged to dress themselves and their pooch in zany, fun Halloween costumes in the spirit of the season. HSOC’s “Pet of the Year” will be the event’s Grand Marshal. Registration begins at 2:00 P.M. at the Sports & Civic Center located at 6th & Boardwalk. The parade begins at 3:00 P.M. and the procession is from 6th to 14th Street on the Boardwalk. -October 22-23, "Ghoul Spring Village" at Historic Cold Spring Village
Historic Cold Spring Village is offering a family-friendly haunted walk-thru for young and old alike. Use the Seashore Road Entrance (not the Route 9 entrance). Take the guided walk through dozens of buildings dating back 150+ years.

-October 23, Middle Township Harvest Festival
A daylong celebration of the old and the new Middle Township! This event will feature live music, games, rides, food and much more. This event is scheduled for Saturday, October 23rd from 10am until 5pm on Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House. The rain date for this event will be Sunday, October 23rd from 12pm until 5pm.

-October 23, Avalon Trunk or Treat
Halloween fun starts early this year with Avalon’s famous Trunk-or-Treat event. Deck out the cars and costumes and enjoy a night of fall fun with family and friends. 6-9pm at the 30th St. beach parking lot.

-October 23, "Creepy Jeepy" Contest & Trunk-or-Treat at CMC Zoo
With the success of the 2020 Jeeps at the Zoo event, we have been invited back for 2021! We will be having a dedicated Jeep Halloween decorating contest and a trunk or treat event in-conjunction with the annual Boo at the Zoo event. Boo at the Zoo has tons of activities for the entire family to take part in, including a costume contest and costume parade, inflatables, and other kids activities.

-October 28, Ocean City Halloween Parade
On Asbury Ave, from 6th-11th Streets, dress up and join the fun! 7:15pm.

Caught off guard by an unexpected visitor, Sherlock Holmes is thrust into his latest case, this time at a prestigious boarding school. Will he be able to uncover the reason why so many students are disappearing, or will the children prove to be too much of a distraction for our favorite consulting detective? -October 30, "Boo At The Zoo" at CMC Park & Zoo
The Cape May County Park and Zoo’s annual “Boo at the Zoo” event will take place on Sat., Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Cape May County Park, in Cape May Court House.
This event is free and open to the public. Visitors of all ages are invited to wear a costume to this fun family event, which includes activities for the kids, craft station, games, candy, entertainment, animals, inflatable obstacle course, pirate ship and more.
A Costume Contest will start at 11 a.m., registration begins at 10 a.m. An awards presentation will follow the Halloween costume contest. The Cape May Dancers will perform at 12:00 p.m. with a live animal show following. Master DJ & Sound will be rocking the event with some special Halloween tunes

October 30, Stone Harbor Shopping District Trick or Treat
Keep those costumes out and hit the streets of Stone Harbor for a fun trick-or-treat event through the borough’s stores and businesses.

-October 30, Cape May Halloween Crafts & Collectibles Show At the Emlen Physick Estate on Washington St., find some spooky good arts, crafts and collectibles!

-October 30, Greater Wildwoods Elks Haunted House The Elks have been putting on the biggest house on the island for decades. Stop by and see what all the fright is about! Trick-or-treaters walk through a “haunted house” and receive treats at the Elks Lodge, 109 West 1st Avenue, in North Wildwood from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Free! For more info, call 609.729.2170.

-October 30, North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat Block Party The annual family fun event and the biggest trunk-or-treat at the Shore! Vehicle check-in is at 4:30 p.m., event is 5:30 – 7 p.m. Held along Olde NJ Avenue in North Wildwood. Music, Magic, Balloon Twisting and more! Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. To be a "trunk", call the NW Rec Dept. at 609-522-2955.

-October 31, Sea Isle City Trunk or Treat
We’re inviting residents, businesses and organizations to distribute candy from your trunks or open tail gates. A prize will be awarded to the “Best Decorated” vehicle. 5-8pm, 42nd Place and the bay parking lot. Call 609-263-0050 to be a "trunk".
