According to BusinessInsider.com, two of the 15 Most Expensive Vacation Homes In NJ can be found in Cape May County towns!  The Jersey Shore is one of the top vacation destinations on the East Coast, with some of the best beaches and coastal wildlife in the country.

Given the enormous demand and New Jersey being the 5th smallest state by area, it's east to see why prices can be steep at the Shore!
