Avalon is home to a thriving shopping district, and a number of activities that will delight people of all ages and activity levels.  Bicycle down Dune Drive’s wide bike lanes, do some bird watching, or partake in the many water activities such as boating, sailing, crabbing, swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, jet skiing, surf and back-bay fishing.  There are also plenty of playgrounds, parks and recreation facilities for tennis, basketball, volleyball and baseball.  There’s even a skateboard park near the seaside promenade! 

Dining and nightlife is vibrant in Avalon, from casual fare to fine dining gourmet. Numerous nightclubs and bars will keep the party going into those cool summer nights.  Jitney service is provided to make getting around convenient and carefree.

Diller Home For Blind Children 5k/1.5 mile Turkey Trot
