Food website Tasting Table put together a list of the best donuts in the United States, from coast to coast and everything in between. Two local confections made the cut!
One is from Nauti Donuts, named by Yelp as one of the best donut shops in the country. The Overboard! donut, a cake donut covered in chocolate icing and topped with bacon bits, was selected among the best.

"It combines all of your favorite breakfast foods into one ideal bite, with the saltiness of the bacon bits cutting through the sweetness of the icing for the perfect pairing," Tasting Table wrote about this donut.
Another local spot - Fractured Prune, which also has locations in Maryland and Delaware, had one of their creations honored as well.
O.C. Sand was selected as the best, a honey glazed donut topped with cinnamon sugar.
"It's a simple pleasure done well," Tasting Table said.
